Our best friend... and an Early Bird!

After an intense weekend of packing 122 watches including the preparation of all necessary documents, our best friend and daily visitor came to our office. The post man... or more correctly the Fedex man.

Obviously he was a bit surprised;-)

Scanning action... a tough job for the device today

And now all those nice boxes will go all over the world ... hopefully arriving well at all of your door steps.

And this is how it looks when the job is done... Jonas desk perfectly clean... Now he is happily drinking some beers in England watching the 2015 Rugby World Cup...

And when your watch arrives, open the box..., enjoy the view..., treat it with love... and if you are not too lazy you can also plug the USB stick into your computer and read the manual. But for the lazy ones among us I post the manual also as pictures here.

First wind 10-15 revolutions, then set date, then time... then it will wind itself happily ever after unless you haven´t frozen because of its stunning look;-)

And just by accident one of our backers who lives in Biel on the way home from his office in Solothurn dropped by to get his watch and be the first... Thanks Hans Erb for the nice pics we are allowed to post from a true Early Bird...

On the right hand Jonas K1... on the left hand a vintage Tag Heuer... nice combo!

When the watches arrive at your door steps please send us pics from you and your watch or some story you can tell us. It is nice to see where our watches will be in future and hopefully we stay connected.

Thanks

Hi Kevin, yes you need to pay Australian VAT and import taxes from your side. This is why you get the watch instead of original price 2600 sfr in shop (usually VAT incl.), 990£ (1400 sfr). John's issue was, that USA custom need extra paper of valuation details, but he had paid also USA VAT and import taxes for receiving the watch. Best reagrds, ty

Hey Roger, I've got a problem with Australian customs also. I've just had a voicemail from them asking me to pay $260.

awesome! Yay! Except the customs agent for FedEx placed a hold on my watch because there was no accompanying paperwork that details the valuations. I've sent a detailed info on who to contact at FedEx already to the Creator - and I know it will get fixed asap because these Creators get it every step of the way and have managed a flawless Kickstarter project!
