About this project

Lottie and Gustavo
Lottie and Gustavo

Once upon a time, in a land with hot dry summers there lived two artists, Lottie and Gustavo, who added fans and more fans to their studios.  Soon the multiple fans blew fuses.  Sooner still Gustavo and Lottie ran out of pennies to put behind the fuses in their decrepit fuse boxes.

Gustavo built a special track for his son’s hamster to run a fan wheel.  The hamster turned Gustavo in to the Hamster Abuse Hotline.

Lottie hired a flock of pink flamingos to flap their wings in unison.  Who knew flamingos fly?

How to move air without electricity, fur or feathers?  How did Spartacus, Napoleon and Anne of Green Gables keep cool?  Pinwheels.  They carried small pinwheels with them where ever they trod.  All are dead now because of constant blowing on their pinwheels to keep cool.

How to build fans without electricity?  The artists consulted amusement park designer, Bob.  Bob drew several giant pinwheels and convinced the artists giant pinwheels could cool their shops, back yards and possibly the world.  As Bob continued drawing, he realized at some point the giant pinwheel could possible create wind power.  But they would have to be attractive, not like the outer space windmills scaring humans in California.  And fun.

While Bob drew, Gustavo engineered and Lottie added the bling.

Lottie and Gustavo sold their decorative pinwheels to a new amusement park, Summer Adventures, in Dallas, Texas where they spin on a breath of wind.

Now Gustavo and Lottie want to build a prototype candy apple red pinwheel to display during the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions trade show in Orlando in November.  With funding from sales to amusement parks, water parks, city parks, etc., they can continue their research in the use of LottiePop Pinwheels by Gustavo  - for wind power.

Help Gustavo, Bob and Lottie WOW the amusement park buyers/attendees in November with their Candy Apple Red Lottie Pop Pinwheel by Gustavo.   Please support our project.

Though this project has been a dud, here's another video of the pinwheels spinning slowly:

Here's a bit of an update.  Enjoy the video.

Risks and challenges

The only risk involved is if the primary artists, Gustavo Galvin and Lottie Minick become ill and can't complete their part. Both are healthy as horses, so unless flood, plague, or locust hit Dallas, Texas, this project will be completed in the time frame.
