Dead Sprint is an intense, light, action/horror board game for 2-5 players where everyone is constantly being pursued by a horde of the undead in an infested hospital.
The unstoppable horde gets their own turn after every player has taken theirs, and they will consume any undead left behind to catch up quickly!
Players will utilize special items to help them along the way, first aid kits to survive attacks, weapons to improve their attacks and action cards they can draw that changes up the strategy for every player.
The game features special types of undead, like the tough as nails Brute and the ready to pop Sploders that will force the players to decide how to deal with them based on their inventory.
The first person to find the exit or the last person standing is the winner. You just have to be faster than your friends!
*All art but the zombies & component quality shown are part of the prototype. The final production copies are expected to be changed.
Dead Sprint features a cast of gloriously disgusting zombies, created by Jamie Noble Frier from The Noble Artist. He has years of experience doing illustrations for board games, books, cartography, logos and more.
The zombies that you can see below are representative of what kind of art style to expect for the rest of the components that Jamie will be doing for the final production copies of the game.
We've received some very positive reviews and previews from various board game content creators so far, and these videos have some great How To Play explanations as well.

We have several exciting stretch goals in mind, a new one will be revealed after we reach each goal!
We want to be as transparent as possible with why we need your help with funding. The chart above shows the breakdown of where all the costs are going.
If we exceed our funding goal the costs will go down per copy to manufacture and we will be able to include stretch goals.
We will be updating all the backers on the progress of our campaign, and we encourage everyone to give us feedback/questions in the comments about anything that comes to mind. Any frequently asked questions will definitely get added to the FAQ section as well.
We really want to get this game into the hands of as many people as possible, and we can't do it without all of your support!
Your game(s) should be shipped by June 2019, but please allow for any unforeseen delays. Shipping is free for U.S. backers and $20 for other countries. Backers are responsible for any customs or import duties imposed by their government (if any).
We are a new studio following our passion, making the games we would want to play!

As a game designer with a family, including 2 children, I wanted to create a board game that we could all play that was simple to pick up and didn't require a large chunk of time. At the same time though, we wanted to make sure we weren't sacrificing fun and depth for all those adult gamers (parents, students etc.) who simply don't have the time for long board games. Dead Sprint checks those boxes, the average play session depending on how many players there are ranges from 20-45 minutes.
We've been diligently working on this project for such a long time, and we can't wait to get the intense, fast, fun game that is Dead Sprint into the hands of people around the world!

Risks and challenges
Our game has been extensively playtested and enjoyed for over 2 years now across hundreds of sessions with many different types of gamers, we are confident the design is good to go. There should not be any major changes that would hold up production.
Our partners with producing the art and manufacturing have their own schedules and have given estimates to the best of their knowledge. There is always the chance of some unforeseeable shipping or printing issue or a deadline not being met and if something does happen we will keep all the backers up to date on this information. If any backer has an issue, please contact us and we will do everything we can to fix it.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
