About

If you'd like to see THE PARLOR Reality Show become a reality, and you're wondering how you can help make it happen, well, you've clicked your way to the right place. First, let me say thank you for taking a look at our Kickstarter page. The fact that you cared enough to even click this far... well... it means a lot. Really, it does. But, hey, let's be real. If you really want to play a vital role in the completion of this pilot episode, you can -- by making a monetary contribution. In turn, we'll send you something really cool as a token of our appreciation. We might even credit you as EXECUTIVE PRODUCER.

As the old saying goes, "any amount helps," and, well, it's true. Any amount does help. So, please take a look over at the right-hand column, where you'll find numerous pledge amount options (along w/ corresponding rewards) to fit any budget. For this Kickstarter campaign, I've set the funding goal at $5,000. That amount is the bare minimum necessary to continue filming THE PARLOR for the amount of time needed to produce a single pilot episode. It will also allow for the purchase of design software which will help to give the show a more high end professional apearance.

For those not familiar with Kickstarter, if the $5,000 goal is not reached in the allotted 30 days, then zero money goes through. That's the bad news. The good news is there's NO LIMIT to how much we're able to raise. The sky's the limit. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. We really need to reach the $5,000 threshold in order to keep this train rolling. If you are unable to make a monetary pledge, please help to spread the word by linking this page to your social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Again, thank you for your interest and support!

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN: The "HAPPY NEW YEAR" episode
The "Happy New Year" episode was filmed over a two week period last December '11/January '12. It was shot with old camera gear and insufficient audio recording devices. It's too short to be an actual pilot episode, too long to be a sizzle reel. It just sort of is what it is -- more or less a "dry run" to see if we even had something to work with. We kind of like it. Please take a look. It gives some good background information about the tattoo shop located in the Rose City section of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Please check back often. We want to keep this page fluid and interesting and will be posting UPDATES and SAMPLE CLIPS over the 30 day period.
