Hello everyone and welcome to the Nod Travel Pillow Kickstarter campaign.
Through extensive travels over the years as a professional commercial interior designer, I was always searching for a better way to rest on a plane, car or any form of transportation. I found traveling to be a tiring task and never quite found the perfect solution for really being able to rest on a plane or in a car.
For years I searched to find a solution for forward head motion but nothing on the market seemed to work. I also designed many prototypes for travel pillows and blankets but nothing worked as it should. All were too bulky and none solved the forward head motion issue.
The simple solution came to me while traveling on a plane to visit a friend. When I arrived back home, I sat out to create my simple and effective design and wallah... the Nod Travel Pillow was born !
I am very excited to bring this product to Kickstarter and see people everywhere enjoying real rest and comfort as they travel to their destinations all over the globe. This simple yet revolutionary designed product will soon change the way the whole world travels.

We have already aligned our resources for manufacturing the Nod Travel Pillow and have done our very best to mitigate the risks and challenges for this project and to realistically estimate delivery of your rewards for this campaign to everyone in a timely manner. Our background in manufacturing helps reassure you that the rewards will be on time and of high quality.
The main challenge that we face is in spreading the word and reaching our funding goal. However, we trust the quality of our product and the problem it solves will quickly help spread the word about this products revolutionary design features.
We are certain crowd funding on Kickstarter will help us accomplish our goal and allow you to gain early access to the Nod Travel Pillow.

The Nod Travel Pillow is not meant to replace or be used without a seat belt. The Nod Travel Pillow design features include a saftey break away in the event of an emergency.

The Nod Travel Pillow easily adjust to accommodate for tray tables, television screens, headrest widths, etc. The back pillow cords are attached using sliding/locking, spring loaded cord carriers.

All US shipping is FREE. We ship worldwide. The price for international shipping ranges from $5 for 1 Nod Travel Pillow to $20 for a Double Pack of the Travel Combo. The correct shipping will automatically be applied during your pledge process.

Once the campaign has ended, we will send out a backer survey. You will fill out your address at that survey so that we can ship your pledge rewards when they are available.

We will work diligently to get your orders through manufacturing as quickly as possible. If we can have them available to ship earlier than the anticipated time frame, we ship early. At this time, this is a preorder only through Kickstarter and we do not have any available to ship immediately.

Because the Nod Travel Pillow comes over the top of the seat head rest and is adjustable, it works for anyone who can wear the standard restraining device in the vehicle you are traveling in. This product is not intended to be used for infants or toddlers while in a car seat.

The seat back cord should be adjusted to a snug fit around the seat with the adjustable seat back cord toggle. The seat has cushion and give so the cord will contour to the seat once pulled tightly. This will prevent it from moving up or down on the seat. Once its in place, the pillow cords can be adjust left and right to ensure you are not blocking the TV monitor or tray table of the passenger behind you.

You can modify your pledge to reflect any amount above the pledge level. If you would like to do a custom order, for example 4 Nod Travel Pillow, you would calculate the amount that would cost plus shipping and revise your pledge to that amount. Please be sure to email us and let us know that you increased you pledge & what you want so that we can update your order. That is the only way to ensure your order gets updated to the correct items you want.
