Well done guys! I'm always interested to hear about the improvements to animation, etc. Even though my friends and I still look back fondly on the original intro video, we always were excited to jump into the hilarious "drunk fighting" simulator.
Anyways, can't wait to try the new version! Thanks for the update!
A very nice and meaty update, though it's a shame it took so long and communication was so sparse. Looking forward to more additions (ie: Dual wielding, thaumaturgy, multiplayer) and improvements (running animation, large object interaction, dialogue). Best of luck with future content :)
Thanks for the update guys, appreciate all the continued quality going into this project.
Forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere, but do you know when Examina becomes finished and work on Sui Generis begins? I'm sort of confused as to the roadmap for the full game.
My opinion on the Journal updates is that they would be nice to have for those of us who don't feel like writing our own entries, but maybe they should be editable by the player. There could also be an option to disable the auto entries, for people who don't want them at all.
How do we play after backing it? I have no communications from Bare Mettle but I see it's for sale on Steam. I see BME asking if people are having trouble accessing it but I don't see any place to do that.
They sent an email out several years ago with your account information used to log in to the account page on the Bare Mettle site: http://www.baremettle.com/account/ . This is where you can download Exanima (and eventually Sui Generis when it's ready).
If you've lost the email or don't remember the password you should be able to click on the "Lost Password" button to retrieve it. And if you're still having issues then you can send an email to support@baremettle.com

Can we have some screenshots or a video? That'd be great!

Sounds great!
Kind of a tall wall of text, but a gratifying read.
Looking forward to 0.6!

Sounds good!
When do regular (non-beta) backers get to have go? A time line would be nice.

This update is available to everyone who backed the game at any tier. Are you having issues accessing it?

Hurray! I've been waiting for this. I've been enjoying this game much more than I ever thought I would, and always look forward to more.

Wow, that's a lot of stuff! Can't wait to get back to this, last time I kept getting my ass handed to me.

Fscking awesome. This is the first time I've been able to get into the game and not be put off by the combat/controls/mechanics.
Fantastic update.
Re: Journal entries, personally I'd like them to be auto-generated with the ability to edit/add text as required.
An option to disable auto-generation would be a nice way to keep everyone happy.

Brilliant stuff ;) you got this green lit on steam - extra sources of funding to finish the game?

Question it how looks with refund? After +-2 years I still have no game (Sui Generis). It's hardly fair.

Can we get a 2017 update?

How come a project that was supposed to be finished by 2014 has no single update since nov 2015... its been 2 years with not a single word...
I dont want to be "too harsh" here, seeing as I am an indy game dev myself... but the lack of communication is really horrible...

An update would be nice...

Exanima is still being updated on Steam (07/2018). Could really do with an update for the main project on here though! "Last login May 29 2017"
