The World's #1 Coffee Blended with Tea!
Walk on the WILD side of taste... Catch the BOLD flavor of our premium dark roast coffee while you experience subtle hints of tea. You can NOW access a wider scope of flavor profiles, uncommonly found in coffee beverages!
Teagosa is made from two simple ingredients... coffee and tea. That's it! This isn't some fad "energy beverage" with a long list of strange ingredients, accompanied by an even longer list of side-effects.
Teagosa is... *drum roll...
#1 Most Common Question: "What are the benefits?"
Tea contains two powerful cognitive enhancers…EGCG and L-theanine. When coffee is added into the mix, the human brain experiences three things - improved memory, attention span, and learning capabilities. Interestingly, EGCG can alter your brainwave patterns, putting you in a desirable relaxed yet attentive state!
#2 Most Common Question: "How's it made?"
Teagosa is brewed JUST like coffee! Because...it's well, mostly coffee. Watch our short instructional video above for more information. Feel free to use whatever coffee maker you have at home, although we highly recommend using a French Press (Bodum).
#3 Most Common Question: "Do I need to grind the ingredients?"
Relax... We take care of our customers - so leave the hard work up to us. Each blend comes pre-ground and pre-mixed, so you can spend more time doing what you love the most.
#4 Most Common Question: "Who's behind Teagosa?"
These two, above! Co-founders, Bernadette Beck and Eric Bullock. In April of 2016, Teagosa was founded in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. We are a two-person operation - we do it all. LITERALLY. We have put everything on the line to make Teagosa possible.
No Loans. No Grants. Just Work.
Well, our story truly began on January 15, 2016 when we took a trip to Nicaragua in search for a Fairtade-Organic coffee farm. We had NO IDEA where to go and spoke ZERO Spanish. We spent days on the road - finding nothing. We promised each other that we wouldn't return to Canada until we found our farm...
...Looks like we found our farm! We saw everything in action - from start to finish! These farmers ONLY practice Fairtrade standards: safe working conditions, fair wages, equal opportunities and treatment for women in the workplace. Thumbs up!
The work didn't stop there - back home in Canada we do everything ourselves! Roasting, grinding, blending, packaging and sealing. It's a 12 hr job! *phew
The Innocence Lost Foundation was co-founded by Fazineh Keita - a dear friend and a former child soldier in Sierra Leone. He escaped and came to Canada for a better life. Fazineh and his team are working hard to build rehabilitation centres across Sierra Leone for child and youth soldiers in need. Teagosa will donate a portion of its Kickstarter funding to The Innocence Lost Foundation. We need to help these children heal!

The team has raised $85,000 out of the needed $200,000 goal. "Once we reach that amount we'll be traveling to purchase the land and begin construction and programs," - Ava Vanderstarren, Co-founder.

Risks and challenges
Team Teagosa has taken significant steps to ensure this Kickstarter is as risk-free as possible. We currently supply over 37 grocery locations at a wholesale level with zero complications. We've even conducted a major test run to ensure that we can produce at a large scale with no issues. We succeeded!
We've developed contingency plans with our vendors in case we run low on our ingredients and/or packaging. (Highly unlikely though!)
There is a chance that our two-person operation may become inundated with orders. That being said, help is always a phone call away. So the chance of pushing our delivery timeline is deemed to be unlikely.
We have a large production capacity, but it still has its limits. Teagosa would have to go "viral" for us to push our delivery timeline. Again, it's possible but highly unlikely.
We've had some people ask, "why would you blend coffee with tea?" We respond with, "well, why not?" Why should we limit our options? There's no valid reason. We continue to conquer these objections through brand awareness, by participating in consumer trade shows, grocery demos, social media marketing, and launching our Kickstarter campaign.
We promise to communicate with transparency and work around the clock to ensure your expectations are met.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
