We are entering a Renascence of health. In the 21st century, amazing strides have been made to understanding conditions like diabetes, Alzheimer's, heart disease, obesity PCOS, cancer, and others.
Science is a significant tool to understanding how God created the world we live in. But how does science compare to a biblical understanding of our world?
My name is Jacob Wagner. I am a professional software engineer with over 20 years in the IT industry. Seven months ago I weighed 378 pounds and discovered that I am pre-diabetic.
So, I started an amazing journey to learn about how God made the human body to work. What I have discovered has changed almost everything that I thought I knew about food and metabolism.
Now I feel great, have lots of energy, and have lost over 50 pounds. But more than that I now understand how what I do affects my body, rather than relying on others to tell me what to do with it.
Above all, I have learned that I (and you) have bodies created for the food that God has provided for us.

Please join me in producing Created 4 Food, a podcast where together we will explore food science, health, and metabolism from a Christian perspective. We will invite experts in nutrition, health, science, exercise, and theology to help us discover how our bodies are made.
The plan is to start sometime this summer and to produce at least 26 by the end of 2018.
What I Need
To get started all I need is a little money for hosting services and microphones.
- Web Hosting ($13/month) $156
- Media Hosting ($15/month) $180
- Web Domain $12
- 2x Quality USB Microphones ($90 each) $180
Estimated Kickstarter/Processing Fees (9%): $53
In addition to this project budget, I will be spending about $500 of my own money on computer equipment and a consultant to help me produce a quality podcast that will provide value to listeners.
If I get an additional $600 I will also hire a professional audio editor. $1500 beyond that and we will do a live broadcast from Ketofest In July, and of course get as many interviews as we can from the experts there.
Risks and challenges
The biggest risk is that I have not produced a podcast before. As a result I am engaging the services of Dave Jackson. Dave has been podcasting since 2005 and has taught hundreds of people through the School of Podcasting, which he founded more than a decade ago.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
