Palo Alto International Film Festival Screening

Hi everyone,

Some incredible things have been happening with LOVE HACKING.

First, this coming weekend on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 10am, Love Hacking will screen at the Palo Alto International Film Festival at the Aquarius Theater.  The film has been screening in festivals across the country and internationally during this past year, but this festival is particularly wonderful because it is a local screening where the film was shot.

Tickets can be purchased here:

I'll be doing a Q&A after the screening and several participants from the film will be in the audience.  While Tim and Sarita will not be able to attend (they currently reside in Hawaii), it will be great to celebrate with many of you who helped make this film possible.

I appreciate how supportive everyone has been during this past year while the film has been screening in festivals.  Love Hacking was a National Finalist for the Student Academy Awards,  won the Outstanding Documentary Award at the Angelus Student Film Festival, was Best of the Fest at the Palm Springs International ShortFest, won the Documentary and Audience Choice Award in Singapore at the Next Reel International Film Festival, and is currently a finalist for the Urban TV Festival in Spain.  It has been really incredible to see audiences respond so well to the film.  Thanks to each of you for your help in getting the film out there!

Many of you have been patiently awaiting your reward for Kickstarting this project.  We had to wait until after the festival run to release DVDs.  I am pleased to announce that your DVDs are hot off the press (literally being picked up tomorrow) and for those who donated $50 or more, you should receive your copy very soon.  Please make sure your addresses are updated!

I hope to see several of you at the screening this weekend in Palo Alto.

Best regards,

Jenni Nelson
