Home Stretch

This is it, folks. In 48 hours, "The Games People Play" will officially be funded, and it's all because of you. Thank you!

I thought I'd give you an update on the puzzle-writing process. All ten of the grids for the puzzlefest have been constructed, and eight of them have been clued. In addition, I've received a lot of positive feedback from my alpha test solver, who has been dutifully checking facts, spelling and solvability to ensure that these puzzles are top notch.

Once I'm finished with the first round of edits, the puzzles will go out to the test solvers at large. While they confirm difficulty and do a second check on the above issues, I'll be working on the two bonus puzzles you've unlocked!

Did you know? There's still time to unlock more bonus puzzles! If we can get up to $2500 (that's fewer than 30 new backers), there's a board game cryptic in your future. I try to keep my cryptics on the accessible side, as I know most American solvers aren't used to the style. For a sample, check one out here:

The easiest way to make that stretch goal happen is to share this project with your puzzle-loving friends.

Thank you for your continued support!

Scurra: Glad to have people excited around the world!

Elaine: The links are working for me, but I've reuploaded the files in the hopes that that will help. Here are the links:

I'd love to download the sample cryptic (I'm American but I love them), but the Dropbox link isn't working. Can you post it somewhere else or update the link?

Of course, from this side of the pond (in the UK), the reverse is true. I'm not especially experienced with solving US-style crosswords which is one reason I'm looking forward to tackling this set... (The other reason being that I'm a board gamer, so the theme of this ticked all my boxes. Board games *and* puzzles?!!)
