So who's on the team?
We have put together a crack team of extremely talented individuals, who have dedicated their lives to the art of Film Making. They are seasoned student filmmakers who are eager and excited to come together and perfect our craft. We have had the honor of working with this team from the beginning and watching all of our skills grow as a cohesive group. This is our biggest project yet, and we have set our expectations very high.
So why do we need your help?
It costs a lot to make a film. There is a direct relationship between what's on the screen and what's in the budget. We are extremely ambitious and organized, but we can't put what's in our heads onto the screen without some support.
- Production Design - We have an extremely talented production design team working with us on this project. We are going to build most of our sets in a vacant warehouse. But we need funds to buy the lumber, windows, and rent the space to build.
- Catering - There is a large team behind this film and we will be working long and hard to make it come to life. We need to keep everyone well fed so they stay happy and the work is the best we can all do.
- Cast - Most of the cast of the film is located here in Savannah. But our lead character, Drew Sheridan, will be flown in from New York. Transportation and lodging aren't too expensive, but it's another item on the budget we need to account for.
- Equipment - Our school provides most of the expensive equipment we will need to shoot this film. But there are a few items they don't have and we need to rent. Some of the films most pivotal moments occur underwater, so we'll be renting underwater lights and a camera housing.
When can I see the finished product?
If you donate, you can see it as soon as we are done with the final and polished cut! After we complete the post-production process we are then going to send the film out to festivals around the world. This is going to be a beautiful film that tells a true and honest story. We want as many people as possible to be able to see it and celebrate it with us.
Risks and challenges
When creating a film, there are always risks and challenges involved. We are confident in our abilities and organizational skills; so what when a problem does arise we will be ready to face any and all challenges that come our way. This project is the culmination of our training at the Savannah College of Art and Design. It will be our calling card. A piece that shows off our collective skills and the talents we possess as filmmakers.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
