Shane Tyree (the artist) and I (Erik Dahlman, CEO of Albino Dragon) have worked on a lot of projects together, but recently we are probably best known for our successful Call of Cthulhu and The White Rabbit decks.
Now we've moved onto one of our favorite genres: cyberpunk! Nothing like melding man and machine for some truly stunning visuals, and Shane has nailed it once again.
Taking the lessons that we learned from the previous projects and building on the great community support that we found here, we look forward to providing another top tier product to our backers. The Synthesis Deck is sure to be our best deck yet.
Risks and challenges
As with every project, we run the risk of natural disasters and other cataclysmic events interfering with manufacturing and shipping schedules (sorry, in the event of a Zombie Apocalypse we will not be fulfilling this project).
With only a two man operation, if something happens to either of us, that will run the risk of impacting the project. Fortunately, we're both hermits so we have mitigated much of the outside world to prevent that from happening. Except for cholesterol, that keeps making its way into our homes.
Having run a few successful Kickstarters previously, we've gotten a pretty good process down for handling pledges, shipping, and fulfillment. We can't promise that there won't be any mistakes, but we've worked very hard to make sure that if we do, there won't be many.
We also use the same vendors we have worked with previously. This gives us an excellent idea about their accuracy in costs and turnaround time so that we have been able to plan accordingly.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
