A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. Today we are here to present our new project "Sunembrace", the charger that uses the charging principle: only solar energy.
"Sunembrace" is a project that was launched with a friend to achieve the same goal: to bring clean energy when needed.
"Sunembrace" can be used in various activities as a valid support in emergency situations, lack of energy, natural disasters and recreational activities, camping, sports and many others.
We started with our studies and laboratory tests that led us to develop our first working prototype. In this way, we managed to make the first portable charger that uses the solar source.
Today we need you because we want to take the next step. We therefore ask for your valuable support in order to commercialize it so that we can achieve our goal.
This is our second creative project on Kickstarter, and it's a very important launch pad to success for us because we know how difficult it can be today to design and produce new devices, and how many pitfalls are hidden: will the design, the availability of components and the final product be appreciated?
It is important for us to familiarize you with the specifics of our project.
The product is made of biodegradable material (chassis) and the emergence of the construction is low in energy (3D prints).
In addition, it uses clean energy to charge batteries and cell phones (solar cells).

Risks and challenges
We started our project more than a year ago, by doing countless tests and many different prototypes, comparing ourselves with suppliers and evaluating dozens of different options. Today we proudly present our final and working product. In order to make sure that our production works fine, we do most of the work by ourselves.
This ensures that we can work better on our product, and reach a very high standard of quality.
For the chassis we are collaborating with a company specialized in materials science, to ensure thermal resistance and atmospheric agents. This is one of the most expensive items of our project. Furthermore, due to company choice, we apply a short supply chain to all the supply of materials and components. This allows us to guarantee a realistic delivery program. If there are any delays, we will quickly and directly inform our supporters, via updates on kickstarter.
The development of Sunembrace was certainly very challenging and expensive, but it is the project on which we have focused all our efforts and we would keep our promises.
