About this project
Cave-in! is a tactical “discard building” card game for 2-4 players, where your strategy really matters. The game is set in the Star Scrappers Universe, a sci-fi world of endless intrigue, conflict, and adventure. Will you be able to use the unique skills of different factions and make them work together?
Your job is the excavation of Xendryd crystals. In order to overcome your competition, you will have to recruit mercenaries, make strategic use of their skills, and collect precious artifacts. However, you’ll have to keep looking over your shoulder! Your competition is only waiting for a chance to buy off your trusted men, and steal the bounty from under your nose!
You will be able to choose the language version of your game in the Pledge Manager.

During your turn you can perform 2 out of 4 possible actions. To build your Base you need mercenaries that you will use to mine crystals and find artifacts. This is how setup of Cave-in looks like:
Use your cards value to recruit new, stronger mercenaries.
To mine bigger crystals you will need a team of mercenaries from the same faction.
You may send mercenaries from different factions to discover powerful artifacts!
Don't forget about their special skills, they will provide a big boost, so you may succeed in your mission!

Star Scrappers Universe is space western setting where countless alien species explore the galaxy in search of wealth and glory. Last interstellar war between Terrons and Hy'drans broke out fifty years ago and since then peace treaties are in power. Trade routes are set, civilizations flourish, and new sources of unlimited power are discovered.
New space nations arrive to influence history - cybernetic Bioss and mechanical Metanels. Old inhabitants of ancient planets - Weedlocks and Minneglers are pursuing their mysterious goals once again. Can fragile peace be maintained in the galaxy of endless adventure?

We plan to start manufacturing components and game boxes within month after the project ends. We will partner up with the factory which will help us deliver superior quality product for you. As soon as production is over we will assemble games component and prepare packages. Then we will ship games around the world as soon as it will be possible. We will inform you if we will be able to arrange pick up in Essen.
We will be charging shipping through our pledge manager after the Kickstarter campaign has successfully completed. We will charge based on the cost for shipping from Poland to your destination - best and safest way possible that will not cost a fortune. When the game will be available, we will ship the packages out to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Risks and challenges
Hexy Studio specializes in sculpting and producing gaming miniatures, as well as in game art and graphic design. By preparing all of the visual assets for the game ahead of time we were able to eliminate any risk of possible delay due to delayed art or graphic design.
Star Scrappers Cave In will be printed in Poland, which provides us complete control of each step of production. The manufacturer specializes in board games, and has not only a lot of experience in this field, but also a flawless record. We have already received samples from the factory, and we are certain that you will be satisfied with the production quality of Star Scrappers: Cave-In.
As with any project consisting of multiple steps (production and shipping), some delays are possible, but we have already accounted for them, and built our fulfillment plan in accordance. Nonetheless, unforeseen production or shipping difficulties may occur, but with complete control over art, design and production, we believe that only the worst case scenario might actually delay the game, in which case it would arrive to you 3 to 5 weeks later than planned.
