10,000 DAYS is an award winning multi platform series that has been watched globally on the internet, and most recently the SyFy channel aired all eleven episodes as a movie.
I originally conceived 10,000 DAYS as a feature film, but then along came the Writer's Guild strike in 2007 and the town ground to a standstill. The cornerstone of the strike was NEW MEDIA. So I figured — why not make the film as a web series? The concept and genre worked perfectly for an online show. Ten minute episodes (or as we coined the term: 1/4 hour programming). What an opportunity. No studio or network notes. No one to answer to but myself. That also meant no one to blame if it failed. We found a brave and visionary investor in producer Erika Lockridge, and we were on our way. Now I'm looking forward to sharing an Epic Second Season with all of you. And I'll tell you this: We're going deep with the story. There will be surprising alliances. Family secrets revealed. Two new clans. Fierce battles on the ice. Oh, and did I mention a visitor from outer space?
Thank you for this incredible opportunity. We couldn't do it without you - Eric Small
