Greetings from Labyrinth Dance Theater, Sasha Spielvogel, artistic director

Some great reviews from the Edinburgh/London trip which you helped us launch -  and information about two exciting upcoming performances. If you would like to come to a rehearsal or receive the perks offered to you with your donation in August, please contact us. Thanks again, and wishing you all well.

“The highlight of the show was Labyrinth Dance Theater’s NOOR. Performer Felicia Norton was outstanding.”
– Three Weeks, Edinburgh Festival review

“Felicia Norton’s dancing in NOOR by Labyrinth Dance Theater was beautiful, nuanced and subtle."
– Amiel Clarke, Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“We came back - and Labyrinth Dance Theater continued its excellent work.”
– Charles Rutherford

“Some brilliant stuff, especially Labyrinth Dance - genuinely inspiring.”
– Kay Leeds

“Fabulous! The work was so haunting!”
– Shelly Rochdale

"Labyrinth Dance Theater presented two powerful dramatic pieces:
Not Even If I Try,
with a live opera singer; and MILORD, presenting a dancer
in a duet with an accordionist/chanteuse: the perfect Maupassant short story."                                - Mark Harding, The Shimmy Skinny, Edinburgh Festival

Labyrinth Dance Theater brings a narrative element back to the stage... thoroughly engaging, passionate performances.
                                                 - Hannah Myers, Broadway Baby, Fringe Review

Upcoming shows we hope you will attend!

Update #3

Dear Lovely and Kind People who Supported Labyrinth's Trip!

Comment

We have returned - triumphantly - from the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh and the Rudolf Steiner Theater in London!

Many thanks again for your support which helped get us over the pond to these two important venues.

Sorry for the delay of this blast - re-entry and all that it entailed took a bit more time than expected :).

Now we owe you the "stuff" we promised when you donated to us

SO:

Please let us know how you would like us to get said "stuff" to you.

We can send it by post, in which case, we will need your snail mail address.

OR:

We can give it to you when we see you in person - which would be the more enjoyable method for us:).

If you go to Labyrinth's website within a week or so,

you will see your names on the Thank-you-so-very-much-for-your-donations oh-great-contributors list;

electronics has its advantages.

Welcome home to Labyrinth - Happy Fall to all!

Happy and Healthy New Year:)

Love,

Sasha

Next update will include photos and information about the performances.

Update #2

We made it - and Thanks to you all!

Comment

Dear Friends and Kind Hearts,

To all of you who made it possible for Labyrinth Dance to perform at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh and at the Rudolf Steiner Theater in London, I want to express heartfelt appreciation. This is a major milestone in the life of our dance company and we would not have been able to do this tour without your extraordinary generosity. So please accept our gratitude and that of our dancers, musicians and singers for your support and for your belief in us, in the importance of dance and of the arts in general.

And now, on to Scotland!

With love,

Sasha Spielvogel & Co.

As soon as we return from our excellent adventure, I will be in touch so we can figure out know how to get your “goodies” to you!
