About this project
The Tekniq Camera Strap is one of a kind and allows you to convert your strap from a neck strap to a cuff strap in seconds.
The Strap can be purchased at its own reward level. See the pricing below!
Below you can see the camera strap in action!
Here are a few more details on the strap!
The measurements of the strap are shown below.
If you have any questions on the Tekniq Camera Strap please send us a message! Now let's move onto the Tekniq Camera Bag.
The key feature of the TEKNIQ camera bag is that it is truly modular. With the ability to easily transition from a backpack to a sling bag to a messenger bag you will always have exactly what you need. Nothing more, nothing less. Simplify your life and Go Modular!
When you purchase a TEKNIQ Camera Bag you are not just buying one camera bag but three for the price of one. Below you can see a comparison of price between a comparable set of three bags, and the TEKNIQ Camera Bag. Which would you choose?
See what these awesome websites are saying about the bag!
The Backpack is made up of two bags, a small bag and a medium sized bag. You disconnect these two by unclipping two side release buckles found on the side of the bag. Then you unzip the high grade weight baring zipper connecting the two bags. Once these bags are separated you use the straps and the hide-away buckles to form the perfect bag for you. Click play below to see it in action!
See the strap system in action on the backpack. The hide-away buckles give you the ability to make any kind of bag you want.
Below are some examples of how the bag can be worn.
We know that your gear is worth anywhere from $500-$15,000 or more. So we made it a point early on to use high quality materials to give you confidence in this bag. The main body is made up of a light weight rip-stop nylon. The Zippers holding the bags together along with other zippers are high grade weight-bearing zippers with waterproofing rubber to make them look and function extremely well. The straps on the bag are made of a herringbone webbing similar to seat belt material and will last for years to come. And the side release buckles are reinforced with a rubber foundation to give peace of mind while you are out and about. Every inch of the bag has been carefully considered and developed to make the bag feel great. You will not be let down by the quality of this bag.
Both bag 1 and bag 2 have the ability to hold the camera body and can be used independent of one another or together.
Each Bag has its own capacity. See how much each bag can hold below.
On top of its modularity there are many other great features that make the TEKNIQ Bag the perfect camera bag. Three of these features include the Lens Cap Clip, the rain jacket, and the tripod holder.
Never lose another lens cap again. In collaboration with Hufa, we have included this innovative lens cap clip on every bag that will allow you to always know exactly where it is. This product is made of premium materials including a rubberized coating to ensure your lens calp is held securely. The Hufa clip is also available on its own reward level. See the reward section above.
Who doesn't need another pocket to hold all of your odds and ends. Well we understand this and have added 6 exterior pockets along with a tablet pocket to make your life easier and more organized.
There are two pieces of herringbone webbing sewn onto the front of the camera bag to allow the user to attach any items they want to the front of the bag whether its a modular lens case, carabiner, or anything else you might want. See this added modularity in action below.
We want our backers to be part of the design process. As such we want to get your input on the logos on the bag. Do you like the all white logo or the red and white logo? Click the blue "Survey Link" below and vote on the logo style that you want. The logo style with the most votes will be the final design.
When you select a funding level that gives you the camera bag, you will receive everything shown in the image below.

- 1 lens cap clip

We went through many iterations of this modular concept before producing the final product. We feel that the final version captures our original hope perfectly. Here are just a few pictures of the many prototypes that we made along the way.
Did you know that 18,000,000 people in the world are affected by a type of blindness that is 100% curable? An organization by the name of the Himalayan Cataract Project, or cureblindness.org, has taken action to start helping this blind population. This group focuses their efforts in Nepal right at the Heart of the recent earthquake. They are doing so much for this community and we want to help! As a photographer you know the value of being able to see and enjoy the world around you. As a photography company we want to help support this incredible cause. Unfortunately due to Kickstarter rules we are unable to donate funding received during our campaign to a charity, so we can't do anything now, but in the future, with every bag purchased we will donate a portion of those proceeds to the Himalayan Cataract Project. By backing us today you will be helping us create a company that in the future will help fund this great cause! Thanks for your support!
This timeline is our best estimate of a delivery date. We have tried to be conservative in these estimates. However there are always obstacles that can arise. In the case of something like that happening we will be sure to keep our backers well updated of our progress. Our #1 goal is to make our backers happy and to be as transparent as possible.

I have been taking pictures for about 7 years now as a hobby. To me there is nothing better than spending a few hours just snapping shots of the world around me. I have been using this bag for a while now and love how easy it is to switch from a small medium or large bag depending on what my outing requires. I know all of you will enjoy it as well! Thanks so much for your support!

Yes. We ship internationally. The fee for one bag is $35, and the fee for two bags is $45.
We plan to have production finished in August or September which means depending on where you live, we will have the product to you by late September or October.
The smaller bag is 1 pound and the larger bag is 1.7 pounds. So together the bags weigh 2.7 pounds.
The bags modularity is what really sets the bag apart. You can quickly adjust your bag to be exactly the size that you need. With the Tekniq Camera Bag you are not just buying one bag, but you are buying three bags for the price of one.
To ship one bag it costs $15 and 2 bags costs $25
