Exclusively for the 2014 Breaking Bad Fan Fest, the artist has created a brand new design, Super Breaking Bad II, featuring an updated Breaking Bad World depicting various cook sites. Custom Lukas Stobie prints are $250, and are limited to 50.
We need your support to make this happen! Fan-based crowdfunding is a great way to ensure the fan fest stays in the hands of fans.
As you know, Kickstarter is “all or nothing,” meaning we need to make our $35K goal, or you the backer are not charged, and the first Albuquerque Breaking Bad Fan Fest never gets off the ground. You're charged only if we make our goal. Once we make our goal, any additional funding we receive will be used to make this an even better fest for fans, such as being able to bring more Breaking Bad cast members to the fest!
HOW WILL WE USE THE FUNDS?
Kickstarter funds will be used to pay for event venues, costs associated with hosting trivia and costume contests, Nov. 7th dinner, celebrity appearances, travel and accommodations, the catered after-party, coach tour busses, rewards and fulfillment, promotions, taxes and other associated fees. We also believe in “keeping it local,” and wherever possible we are utilizing local Albuquerque businesses. We will not spend funds on payroll or crazy stuff like a fleet of Azteks. We’re fans ourselves, and we’re in the fest business, not the empire business.
We're obsessed with Breaking Bad! And we're huge fans, just like you.
In addition to his numerous other fan related projects, Miguel has significant experience producing Breaking Bad fan events in Albuquerque. He created a series of watch parties for the final 8 episodes, in collaboration with Yelp, which were held at a variety of venues all over Albuquerque. Many of these featured guest appearances by Breaking Bad cast members. The finale watch party at Hotel Albuquerque was attended by over 900 people.
Jennie loves Breaking Bad and has made pilgrimages to Albuquerque many times to tour Breaking Bad filming locations. She was inspired by all of the other Breaking Bad fans and Breaking Bad tourists she met in Albuquerque to suggest producing a Fan Fest to Miguel. She has 12-years experience bringing in speakers and producing symposiums in her professional field.
Miguel and Jennie have founded a limited liability corporation, 99.1% Productions, with the specific goal of creating the first Breaking Bad Fan Fest by fans for fans. Our office is located in the historic Sunshine Building in beautiful downtown Albuquerque.
A fan-based Breaking Bad fest is our dream. We thank you for backing us and becoming a founder of this amazing event.

Risks and challenges
As for all events with invited celebrities, there is a risk that unforeseen circumstances will lead to guests cancelling. We do not anticipate that this will occur. If it does we will make every attempt to bring other Breaking Bad celebrities to the fest.
We have already been in discussion with venue managers and other vendors whom we intend on participating in the Fan Fest. However, there is a chance that venues and vendors may need to be changed.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
