Ever Tangled With Lightning Illustrated and Interactive
Ever Tangled With Lightning is getting a Facelift. I am now working on an illustrated and interactive version for children.
I wrote a book, it is called Ever Tangled With Lightning. It was the response to Ever Caught A Rabbit In A Cornfield.
Ever Tangled With Lightning was a big hit with my family and friends and some people I do not know.
Many have said that the book should have been illustrated, but the cost of an artist was not in the pages, in other words artist are expensive. Although I can draw a little, to get that professional look takes a little bit more effort.
This is the new cover design for Ever Tangled With Lightning Illustrated and Interactive. Perhaps it needs a professional touch. I will let you critique it and let me know.
If you could see what was imagined in the pages of the original story, you would understand the need for an illustrated and interactive version for children and adults.
Wait there is a video.
The above video was completed by me to advertise Ever Tangled With Lightning, the artwork is crude, but entertaining. It was released in 2016.
There are a few other stories that really need to come to life to complete this journey.
The stories are about Little Artie, who always seemed to have found himself in quite a bit of mischief. The stories listed above took place from the ages of 3 to 5, Little Artie's mischief took place from the moment he could crawl to... well he never grew out of it.
You can also see that my artwork has gotten a little better.
The mischief always started with an overactive imagination and an idea.
Self-Publishing a paperback was not that expensive. However Self-Publishing a 100 page full color kids book, and throw in some marketing and maybe an artist to touch up my artwork is a little more than I expected.
I would enjoy the feedback from the Kickstarter community.
Kickstarter is a great platform to get help with the extra cost, and the residual effects of campaigning are very fruitful.
Comments and suggestion are welcomed, I look forward to all the help I can get to make this project a success.
Risks and challenges
The risk will be based on the collaboration with any artist that I bring on board to meet the deadline of a November to December release.
If I cannot afford the assistance of an artist you will be stuck with my drawings and artwork.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
