Announcing (more) Twitch Support!

Hello!

Today is a milestone day indeed! Twitch has announced that they will be matching pledges for the remainder of the campaign! What this means is they will be pledging half of what was remaining at the time of their announcement, which was roughly $15,000. So, as soon as we hit the $22.5k mark, Twitch will be pledging the remaining $7.5k to bring us to a successfully funded campaign!

But where are we now? At the time of this writing, we're at $21,369 - over 70% funded and just $1,131 away from essentially reaching our goal. This is incredibly exciting, to both see the finish line in sight, and to know that Twitch is genuinely invested in our vision of what can be done when you let 10,000 people shape a game's world for someone else.

You Asked Him Anything
Earlier today, Michael took part in an AMA on reddit, wherein anyone could ask him anything and he would do his best to answer. The questions spanned most of his 14 years of game development, so while there are plenty of questions about Choice Chamber, there's plenty to learn about his other games, too! And some of them were made with our designer Chelsea as well, which is fun to think that they've been making games together for so many years. Here's a link to the AMA.

That's it for today's update! It's possible that by the next time we say hello, Choice Chamber may be fully funded. And that's something we're sure you're just as excited to hear as we are. Thanks to every person reading this, to the 110 new backers who came in just today, to those who have been supporting since day 1. You've all helped contribute to where we are today, and we're glad you've come along for the ride.

Love and Rockets,
-Michael (and Chelsea and Kent :D)

We'll see! We still have plans to open preorders after the Kickstarter, which would be aimed at continuing to nail down those stretch goals. It would be good for people who miss out on the campaign, and those who can only support through things like PayPal.

Hmm.. Since Kickstarter has a tenancy to get a real boost in pledges at the end this might mean that we get customization/mod support and maybe even Co-op.. Co-op would be awesome.. Maybe even if we're lucky enough we could get C418.. Long shot but still possible!
