Mass Production Photos and More!

Posted by Lazy Squire Games (Creator)

Hello, folks!

It's update day (night) and we're here to share mass production photos, some shameless plugging for one of our crossover pals and to show off a stretch goal sculpt I think you're going to like. Let's get to it, shall we?

Mass Production Photos (AKA: Bunches of Lots of Minis)

Archon Studio has been excelling in the field of manufacturing (and sculpting, see below). They were kind enough to send us some pictures of their Herculean efforts:

What's better than one Phoenix? Bunches of lots, that's what!

Nobody expects the Lava Fiend Inquisition.

Some Exalted Effigies and Horned Golems rocking it out (I'm so very sorry).

Horned Golem: Up close and personal.

I like to think they're doing "the wave."

A face only a mother that just vomited him up could love.

Dark Rituals: Malleus Maleficarum is Live, Funded and Almost Gone on Kickstarter

Dark Rituals: Malleus Maleficarum, from Dark Gate Games (the makers of The Order of Vampire Hunters, one of Wild Assent's crossovers) is killing it on Kickstarter. With an over $500,000 funding total, there are Stretch Goals for days to be had and it all ends in less than 72 hours. Here's their pitch:

Dark Rituals: Malleus Maleficarum is the next exciting miniatures based game from DG Games Entertainment. Dark Rituals is an asymmetric “One vs Many” game for 2 to 5 players, with a solo mode.  A small band of Heroes defends villagers from a coven of Witches. One player, the Witch Master, controls the Legion of Darkness. With two players, the second player plays the Heroes in a strictly competitive game and up to three more players may join in, each taking a Hero to help battle the Witch Master. A solo mode is also available, where the Witch Master battles game-controlled Heroes.

Sound awesome? Pledge here before it's too late:

The Chimera

Finally, I think it's in the bylaws that we need to show you a new sculpt, so check out the amazing job Archon did with the Chimera:

That's it for now. We'll see you in the Wilds (assuming the Chimera doesn't see you first)!

@LSG as interesting a factory floor video would be, that wasn't what I was asking for, was more like a video version of the "still pictures" and when the time comes a packing video of the boxes.

@LSG, thanks for the reassurance about minis. Please keep an eye on Archon fulfillment. Every shipment I have received has been wrong/incomplete. They also don’t seem to keep track of what they have and have not shipped.

Fingers crossed this is going to be the first Archon production I’ve supported that hasn’t been a total mess.

      That Chimera looks fantastic

I secretly believe Archon Studio is never not fiddling with their miniature goo, but that's just a theory. As for Wild Assent, we actually shipped out several dozen sets of miniatures to folks as part of our marketing push and we only had three sculpts that broke (and honestly, one of them only broke once). Archon is fixing the two severe issues in production and we've done a lot of work to keep our sculpts out of any danger zones. All the boxes will ship from Poland as Archon is handling almost all of the production (that doesn't mean we won't have hubs and what-not, but Poland will definitely be the origin).

      @Rodney A
If you're talking about a factory floor kind of video, I'm not even going to ask for that. There's proprietary technology all up in that joint.

Nice update -not seen mass production pictures pre-pledge manager before. Any chance of a video from the factory in a future update?
Look forward to seeing the PM in the spring

Has Archon Studio changed anything with regard to manufacturing to strengthen their miniatures? Every shipment I’ve received from them has had damaged minis—even the replacement shipments for the initially damaged minis.

Also are they handling fulfillment out of Poland or are you guys doing it someplace else?

Thanks! That gives me a ballpark to budget for. Can't miss out on this one! :)

We're hoping to open the Pledge Manager around March-April.

This looks great. Do we have a ballpark on when the pledge manager will be running to upgrade orders? A few months out? The fall?
