Story-Based Campaign! Language PDFs! Less than 49 Hours to Go!

Posted by Lazy Squire Games (Creator)

Hello folks,

We have some exciting things to go over in the shadow of the campaign's 48-hours-to-go milestone.

Story-Based Campaign

We're finally ready to show a small preview of the much-requested story-based campaign that will be available in the scenario books of both the core game and the expansion. These are very much still in beta, so nothing is final (and a lot of testing will need to be performed), but these four chapters, two story and two encounters, will give you a taste of what the campaign has to offer. You can download them by clicking on the image below. Keep in mind that the story-based campaign is part of the scenario book, but not all. We still plan to have alternate scenarios that add fun and exciting things to do for both the Arena and the Hunt.

We've decided we will have Wild Assent translated into four languages: Spanish, French, German, and Polish and make PDFs available to backers leading up to release. I know this isn't the same as having actual printed cards, but it will allow folks who otherwise would not be able to play the game to be able to do so (and give us a solid foundation for full translated releases in the future).

Another Review Video

Unfiltered Gamer has posted his review of the Arena mode, you can watch it here:

Finally, don't forget about our Live Stream in less than an hour. I'm excited to talk about the new story-based campaign mode and whatever else is on my or your mind as we head into the final 48 hours.

      Also some text to read if you lose, i.e rather than victory text, would be great.

      I see there are rewards for winning which carry over to the next scenario but what about losing? If there is fear of losing due to a loss of something or some sort of effect, its makes campaigns a lot more interesting.

      @Lazy Squire
      It works now, before the link wouldn’t go anywhere.

      Can you see the files but it won't let you download, or do you not get that far? If it's the latter (and you are trying to access them from your phone), you may need the Dropbox app.
