The lease is signed! After months of waiting for the lease to navigate through the proper state and historical society channels I was able to sign the lease yesterday. The lease is travelling to Yuma today for one more historical society meeting and I should have the signed, stamped, and approved copy back on Monday.
I would like to extend a huge thank you to all you Kickstarter backers for your patience during this process. It has had its setbacks (for me personally, a severe case of Malaria followed shortly thereafter by a severe case of West Nile Virus), but I am confident that we will have you all drinking quality local beer together soon!
I want to thank Christine Bradley for coming up with the logo. I would like to thank Grant Getz for doing all of the design work, Grant is a gifted and gracious local designer and architect. I would also like to thank our friends at 1055 Brewery and Dragoon Brewing for their help with all things related to starting a brewery, And a huge shout out to our friends at Tap and Bottle for helping us navigate the process of opening a downtown business, and for creating an awesome space for us to enjoy beer together.
We will begin building out the brewery immediately, and I will keep you posted about the potential opening date as soon as I know it.
