Escape rooms are very big business at this time and are located all over the world, they involve placing a team into a locked room they are then given 60 minutes to solve clues & puzzles and escape the room.
Most escape rooms will involve a theme or story and have multiple padlocks, combination locks and visual puzzles that will need solving in the correct order to lead to the exit.
Business' often require team building events and "away days" for workers to gain team work and morale boosting, often costing money and time away from work to organize. I want to be able to take a mobile escape room to the office meeting room where the office can send in a team of up to 6 to have a 60 minute experience, more teams in the office can spur competition too.
Saving time and money as the employees need not leave the office, the escape room would use props, music and special fx, padlocks and combo locks, puzzles and logic that requires the team to work together and use each others strengths and problem solving skills to complete.
The story line of the escape experience will be a murder scene, the team have been kidnapped into the abandoned office crime scene, members of the team will have blindfolds on and handcuffed, the first challenge being to help each other out of their constraints. Using clues and puzzles around the room they will have to find the final key to leave the room.
The funds needed are for the purchase of equipment for the escape experience and for marketing the concept to businesses. To also cover travel to the different venues and insurance.
Risks and challenges
To avoid the experience being too easy/hard there will be testing with teams from 2 - 6 people, this gives the opportunity to change puzzles and processes of the escape game, John Lewis Head office have already enquired about testing the event for their staff. Clues can also be given as part of the game for groups who are struggling.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
