Marc here from GB. If any international backers don't receive their packages by March 15 please send email@example.com an email and we will get the tracking pulled up to make sure it's not stuck in customs. If for any reason your package doesn't arrive safely, we will arrange a new shipment for you!
Thanks again everyone and we hope you're all loving In a World of Dinosaurs and are excited for the next games coming out in the series :)
One of our friends and designers at Shakos just launched their second Kickstarter called Napoleon 1807, you won't want to miss this one!
A vast majority of you have your long awaited dinos, overseas backers have their copies en route, and we're contacting a few of you that have outdated address. All in all, shipping is about done. Some of you may still be in shock that a copy of In a World landed on your doorstep after all these years. Once that wears off, we have a little favor to ask.
While a small crew developed/ arted/ manufactured the game, it was all of you that brought this game to life. We hope to keep this community moving forward on the Board Game Geek forums. If you ever have questions about a ruling, pop in and ask. Have cool ideas for custom rules? Log in and let everyone know. We really hope to keep the dino convo rolling with you and possible future dino fans.

Speaking of the future. Our pals at Golden are working on the next chapter of this game's life. For there to be a next chapter, we need to be able to show that our community is enjoying the game. Over the years, we've had a couple folks leave reviews based on the state of the campaign. While that's a bummer, we'd like to invite you all to play the game a bit and review the game on its merits.

All of us at Subtle Chuckle and Golden Games really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and comment.
See you around the forums! Happy gaming, everyone!
Wanted to drop in and give you all a quick update on Fancy Pants Editions. Many of you in the US likely have already received yours, and the international packages are all en route! It was a busy busy week assembling all the parts and boxing them up, but they turned out great. Here's a closer look into fancy pieces we haven't featured before.
The Assembly Process:
Traveling Trophy Token: A custom wooden magnet to be taken home by the current victor in your paleontologist circles. Also great for holding up dino-drawings on the fridge, or throwing like a ninja star to ward off oncoming carnivorous beasts.
Custom Wooden Tray: I put a lot of love into these little devils. A bit of a tedious process, but I wanted them to really feel special. Each section of the tray has unique dino-stylings, including a vertical four part camp site that stretches from Earth's surface into the night sky. There is even an area to place interns that sadly succumb to an early exit from this realm.
Fancy Museums: Dual fold, gold embossed museums with peg scoring, and extra trays to hold tokens and pawns.
Bonus Bits and Bobs: The Fancy Editions also come with the retail versions of the board, museums, and fame cards. Either can be used interchangeably, so all players can use their favorite style of museum.
Big Thanks! We also want to throw out a big thanks to the fine folks at Golden Bell Games. Marc, Rachel, Rob and co. were a big help in bringing this game to your table. The road for this project was long, but with their help, it came to a close. Thank you, guys!
From everyone involved, we hope you all enjoy digging dinos, exploring the island, and giggling/ eye rolling at the silly cards.
We’ve all been waiting years for this, so I’ll skip my usual howdys and yalls. Let’s dive into it!
In a World of Dinosaurs is finally shipping! Golden Bell and Subtle Chuckle are tag-teaming this effort to make sure your game gets to you in the coming weeks. Golden Bell is shipping out retail boxes from the California warehouse. They are shipping all retail copies that are not heading to central Texas. Subtle Chuckle’s chuck of retail copies arrived earlier this week (from California). We’ll be shipping all central Texas retail and Fancy Pants editions out over the next two weeks. We’re assembling the sexy wood inserts for the Fancy Pants first. We’ll then be packaging and shipping all units.
Happen to be in the Austin area on January 20th? Want to pick up your copy in person? Come celebrate with Pete and myself at the studio. I’ve had a dinosaur pinata in my closet for 4 years (through 4 house moves!) waiting for this party. It’s time!
