YOU CAN HOST THE GREATEST GAME NIGHTS IN THE UNIVERSE!Game Night In A Can is a party game for 5-20 people that includes 30 original creative games. Depending on which games you play in a night, you and your team might pitch a new commercial for an old couch, create strange mythical animals, rewrite a national anthem or strategically launch paper airplanes at targets across the room. Game titles include Curate This!, Frumpy Bumpers, Creepy Peepers, Noah’s Ark, and Sell Me Something Good.
You will find Creative Contests, Team Challenges, and Games of Skill inside this can. And since each night includes 7-8 randomly pulled games, there are over 3 million variations of game nights. You will never have the same experience twice!
WHAT MAKES GNIAC DIFFERENT?
Other party games don't leave much room for creativity. You have to guess the correct answer or work within a confined set of rules.
Many games in this can are entirely subjective and allow for ultimate creativity. Make a commercial, create a new band, use your imagination. Whoever hosts each game is also the judge, which can make things extra spicy.
There are 2 different ways to play:
All Play (Best for smaller groups)
1. It's every human for themselves, and the spinner dictates who hosts each game.
Classic Teams (More players, more fun)
2. You are the host and judge for the entire night, with the same teams for all games.
WHY GAME NIGHT IN A CAN?
Creators Jason Lautenschleger and Barry McLaughlin have hosted radically unique game nights all over Los Angeles. These one-of-a-kind events became so popular we were compelled to create a play-at-home version, including 30 of our funniest, most outrageous games.
WHAT'S IN THE CAN?
We'll be delivering a polished, uniquely-designed metal can that stands about 4.5 inches tall (113mm, Canada!) and has 30 high-quality cards inside. Each card will have instructions for its own creative and fun game. Games like "Frumpy Bumpers" "Bank Face" and "Creepy Peepers."
On the back of each card will be one of 5 custom pieces of art. So when you spread the cards around the table or floor, people will think you robbed a museum. All original art & design are by the dynamic duo Andre Schnyder and Jane Moro.
The greatest little secret about Game Night In A Can is that our unique spinner is located directly underneath the lid. This has never been done before! We have completely revolutionized the games-in-a-can industry.
WHEN WILL YOU GET IT?
Our estimate is that these will be manufactured and to your door by November or earlier.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF GNIAC?
As if bringing fun to living rooms across the country weren’t enough, Game Night In A Can is actually good for you. Beyond the social benefits of playing with others, by activating your “right brain” with the creative games in this can, you will improve your brain’s neuroplasticity, problem-solving skills, and imagination. Players will see how unleashing creativity can reveal surprising new sides of friends, and even themselves. And it’s good for the environment! Because we ask you to gather “paper, pens and a handful of friends,” we've partnered with Trees For the Future to ensure a better tomorrow. For every can sold, a new tree will be planted in the earth.
ONE TREE PLANTED FOR EVERY CAN SOLD!
DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT!
Jeremy Sisto - "Creative games are so good for brains and friendships!"
David Walton & Majandra Delfino - “We had such a good time and couldn’t feel more certain that Game Night In a Can is the best thing to happen to socializing EVER. And we already loved socializing, so that says a LOT.”
Sarah Jane Morris - “So fun last night! My uber driver got in a wreck on the way home though. That wasn’t nearly as fun.”
We're constantly creating new games, so this can is just the first step in our plan to take over the world of games.
We have a podcast that chronicles our behind the scenes journey of creating GNIAC, the games themselves, and a secret backstory involving Russian Space Dogs. Listen on iTunes here:

Risks and challenges
Because we're packaging so much fun into one compact can, we could see how something could pop up and delay our progress. For instance, in attaching our spinner to the lid of the can, we're asking our manufacturers to do something they've never done before. But we know it's totally worth it.
That said, we've built in some extra time to get everything done. We've secured second and third estimates for shipping and production and we feel confident that we can deliver in time for the 2015 holiday season. If we don't, we hope everyone will enjoy Game Night in a Can at their President's Day parties next year. YAY!
