YOU CAN GET BEER ANYWHERE ... BUT, CAN YOU GET CRAZY DELICIOUS BEER, ALONG WITH A RAD TASTING ROOM AND A 3,000 SQ FT LICENSED OUTDOOR PICNIC AREA ANYWHERE ELSE? THAT IS STANDOUT!
But we need your help! We have raised enough money to make this brewery a reality, but we don't want it to be average, we want it to be awesome! And that is where you come in.
What will we do with the Money?
1) Finish our Awesome Tap Room - We need some extra funds to create a rad little tasting room where we are proud to host you. It will be a place you want to stay for a while, featuring a nice warm fireplace, 10 beers on tap, a growler station and lots of seats to meet up with friends and drink some Field House liquid gold.
2) Make the Best Dang (Licensed) Picnic Area in BC - We've got 3000 sq.ft of outdoor space that we're hoping to convert to an awesome little grassy knoll where the beers will be flowing when the weather is nice. We need to landscape, build some fences, plant some trees and finish the parking lot so we can get some food trucks down there to keep you full while sampling our craft beer line up. We've got big plans for this space including outdoor concerts and bocce ball tournaments in the sunshine... but we need your help to make our dreams of a magical beer-lawn happen.
3. Make more Awesome Field House Swag - You gotta stay warm while drinking your brew! We've got lots of ideas to make awesome t-shirts, hats, custom tote bags and specialty modern-heritage items. We need funds for inventory so you can look cool and stay warm in Field House gear. Ideas are plenty... money, not so much.
And to top it off, your donations don't need to be totally selfless, because we are offering some pretty great rewards to our backers!
According to Kickstarter, beer cannot be one of our rewards, but it doesn't matter we have a lot of good stuff here.
With the beer flowing, a fireplace hearth, couches, an outdoor picnic area, growlers-to-go, food trucks, and friends by your side, our tasting room will be that place to come and get that hard earned drink at the end of the day.
And the best part? Our brewmaster is crafting up some tasty concoctions:
WILD SAISON // a fresh and crisp saison fermented with wild yeast to create spicy, floral flavours paired with funky, fruity flavours.
EASTERN IPA // NZ and Aussie hops give this IPA it's white grape and stone fruit flavours.
DUTCH PALE ALE // The Dutch answer to the Belgian Pale Ale. Mellow in malt and bitters, but finishes with a hint of new world hops.
GOSE [GOSE_UH] // An 18th century german salted sour wheat ale. Flavours of salt, coriander and elderflower help balance the tartness of the Gose.
SALTED BLACK PORTER // A Baltic style Porter with the addition of traditional Dutch salted black liquorice drops.

Risks and challenges
Of course, being a very young business comes with it's risks and definitely it's challenges. But, as every challenge comes up, we promise to work as hard as we can to work through it and fulfill our promises to our backers.
We are a small team and we are very busy opening the brewery. There is always a chance, but hopefully not, of delays with suppliers, permits, equipment and merchandise delivery.
As we are undergoing a renovation to our space, unforeseen challenges are always a possibility. But we are working with a professional team of contractors on a strict timeline to create a warm, inviting space to drink a great brew.
That being said, once we are open, we will have more time to make sure all rewards get into your generous hands.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
