Sammy Harkham Original Art Rewards
Sammy is offering a selection of the originals from his Mould Map story as luxury backer rewards. These are, by his own reckoning, among his finest work to date. There is also the option of having an original drawing made to your specification. Unique opportunity. Act now. (MM is in gallery mode, splitting 70/30 with Sammy).
The prices are as listed below each drawing. Please send us a message after backing stating which drawing you would like, we will then mark it as sold. Prices listed are for the drawings ONLY and do not include a copy of the book. If you'd like both a drawing and a book please add the appropriate amount to your pledge. Thanks!
Leon Sadler Original Art Rewards
Leon is also offering unique colour art. The prices are as listed below each drawing. Please send us a message after backing stating which drawing you would like. Here's what he has to say about them...
'My process is that my actual drawn original pages are a total mess of layers of scruffy cut and pasted paper and tippex, real ugly stuff you'd never want to look at. I then photocopy them to clean them up and get a good contrast, and then I colour the photocopies with spirit markers, and finally I play with them a bit on the computer. I'm offering up these hand coloured pages for sale, they're loosely cut to just below A4 size and are heavily flooded with alcohol based inks.'
Mould Map 3 - Possible via Kickstarter ONLY!*
Mould Map 3 is the anthology of our dreams, no-one else is going to make a book like this. Kickstarter is the most effective print project funding system available on the internet. This book can only happen this way.
!!!!!!!WARNING THIS BOOK HAS GOT SHARP TEETH AND A CHEEKY WINK!!!!!!
Mould Map is committed to paying each artist for their work. Each person involved will receive a basic fee as part of our funding goal (see budget below). Should the target be reached, all further profits will be divided equally between each of the creators.
WHAT IS MONEY?£$
*We are selling wholesale copies here to retailers at a discounted cover price (around 50%) BUT who knows how many stores will take us up on that so if you want to be certain to get a copy then it's best to BUY IT NOW
How Can YOU Help? Mould Map has to drive at high speed.
The audience is the most crucial part of any Kickstarter project. As well as becoming a backer the biggest thing you can do to help is tell anybody and everybody you know with an interest in progressive comics and graphic art about Mould Map 3 - it may sound trite but we literally can not do this without YOU.
Postage, Delivery & Schedule
UK Postage is included in all prices, add £5 to post outside UK. All books will be sent in a protective heavy card envelope. The posters will be folded to the same size as the book. We aim to go to print as soon as possible after the Kickstarter ends and should be able to begin shipping 2 - 3 weeks after that. We will do our very best to stick to the schedule, however please don't count on a Christmas delivery to avoid disappointment!
Mould Map 1 & 2
Here are a couple of images of previous editions to give you an idea of the print quality to expect.
It's a lot better for us if you can use the usual Kickstarter payment above but if you can't do that then there's a Paypal option over at Leon's Famicon site. We'll add the Paypal pledges to the total. If we don't make the funding goal we'll refund them immediately. Promise!
Risks and challenges
Although there are risks with any project, this one should be relatively straightforward. Landfill Editions has been publishing and delivering books since 2009 so we have experience with what can go wrong and should be able to avoid any major setbacks.
The artwork is now 95% complete with only small adjustments and extra surprises to be added. We will be using the excellent London based printer who we also worked closely with on the first 2 issues of the book and we have a week set aside and a dedicated postal team who will be working to get all of the books sent out to you around the second or third week of December 2013.
We will do our best to stick to this schedule, however, please do not rely on a Christmas arrival in important cases. A book with production values as detailed as this one (non standard inks and inserts) can sometimes take over 2-3 weeks to print, which * might * mean an early January postage period.
Thanks for visiting!
