Lack of electricity? Relax — a shower is supposed to be a restorative experience, not a stressful one! The system easily connects to the 12V DC power supply in all vehicles or is compatible with one deep cycle battery, found on Amazon or your local automotive battery store.

Optimized Water Usage: Designed with your cleaning goals in mind, our Geyser Valve gives you the capability to use the least amount of water needed to wash yourself or your gear. The result? Bring up to 10 times less water OR have your existing water supply last you 10 times longer.

We aim for high standards and have designed the Geyser System to traverse rigorous field tests through the Australian Outback and keep your mini-explorers safe. That’s why we’ve designed the Geyser System to be as safe to use as it is dependable.
How are we sure it’s as safe as possible? Let’s start with our not one, but three sensors:

Temperature Sensors: Never worry about leaving the heating element on or adding water that is too hot! Our system always monitors the water temperature. At 95 F (35 C), it turns the heating element off to stop drawing power. If you add water that is too hot for use, our sensor will simply shut off the pump mode until it cools.

Water-Level Sensor: We’ve included a water level sensor. Not only does it notify you to wrap up your wash, it also automatically shuts off the heating element when the water is low—this prevents the element from burning out and needing replacement down the line.
- Lid Sensor: The electrically insulated heating element will only turn on when the lid is screwed on tightly. If, for whatever reason, the heating element isn’t insulated and the lid becomes unscrewed during use, the system will cut off electricity to prevent conductive water. Now, your mini explorers and early risers don’t have to worry about fumbling around with our system or wonder if they properly closed their lid.
Easy To Set Up: The Geyser System is designed to be as intuitive as possible, with only three steps to get it up and running. You simply add water, connect to 12V DC, and connect a Geyser Skrub. Turning on the pump is as easy as a flip of a switch!
Simple To Heat: Our heating element makes it simple to heat your water. We offer three options to heat the water in as fast as five minutes! Putting the Geyser into heating mode is as easy as flipping a switch.
Dependable and durable: We want you to explore to the ends of the earth with our device, so we’ve engineered it with materials and mechanisms that will last as long as your desire for adventure does:
- Plastic Gate: We’ve kept the heating elements and thermostats safe from fingers and fallen objects by placing a plastic gate above them. This allows you to store the sponge in the water container when you are not using the Geyser System.
- Hose Connector: Each hose connector is created from non-corrosive plastics so that when combined with dirt and water the connector remains as good as new.
While there are many ways we’ve designed the Geyser to remain durable with minimal upkeep and maintenance, we also know there's no staying clean without clean materials.
All great inventions come with great stories, and the Geyser System is no different. After spending ten years engineering and marketing advanced surgical instruments, inventor and lifelong traveler Jonathan Ballesteros decided to trade the corporate lifestyle for a 4X4 camper van and an Australian adventure. After he rigged his van and started his way across Australia, Jonathan kept discovering something interesting during his journey. While each location came with new Aussie friends and views, the complaints he heard were all the same: there was never a hot, refreshing shower.
The wheels started to turn, and then inspiration hit, one fateful day in Melbourne. He needed to prepare himself for a social outing and only had a small bottle of water left. While pouring the water bottle on a rag and attempting to wipe himself down, the initial idea for Geyser hit: “What if”, he asked himself, “the rag was a sponge with a hose connected to the water bottle?”
Just like that, the Geyser was born! Countless pumps and yards of pipe later, when he had a good prototype, Jonathan then set out to really test it in the field. He asked a team of designers and hardcore campers to take the original Geyser System out through the rugged and grueling parts of Australian Outback and come back with their feedback, ideas, and hesitations.
What was left is Geyser as it stands today, developed and tested by the brightest of minds and most passionate of explorers.
Risks and challenges
Our suppliers are qualified and tested. Our manufacturing floor and process is secured, validated, and risks identified with a short run of 10 units. Our purchase orders secure our long-lead time electronic and mechanical components. All that's missing is our plastic injection molds coming from a reliable supplier we worked with during the prototyping of this project.
Nobody likes delays, and we’re doing everything we can to deliver on an achievable and responsible schedule. That said, with a new production line, we may still have some learning curves ahead of us but our team will be here to communicate with you every step of the way.
