Funded! This project was successfully funded on July 6, 2012.

This project dissects the diseased collective conditioning of American food through a subversive dinner party celebration.

On July 6th 2012 I will be participating in a performance salon hosted by Krowswork gallery entitled You Must Change Your Life. I will be creating a performed dinner celebration with giant tie-dye dolls that surround a communal table offering a sculptural mound of green produce. Performers with cook, serve and dance within the installation while being hypnotized by a spell of verbal domination (i.e. a mind control sound track). ***Gallery visitors are encouraged to participate in an ecstatic eating ritual dedicated to the playful critique of a health-conscious post-modern new age***

This work addresses the sociological aspects of food production, mind control, and power. I'm interested in creating a subversive dinner party as a reaction to the diseased collective consciousness of American food consumption.

All funds pledged will go directly to the purchase of food and drink for the gallery participants. Below is my wish list....

-food served during the performance
8-10 cases of kale, olive oil, pine nuts, herbs
-drinks served during the performance
0ne and half cases of champagne, ice
-Paper goods i.e. paper plates, cups, plastic forks and knives

any amount you can pledge would be most appreciated!
