Imp Possible: The Final Stretch Goal.

The big 200k.

I'm leaving this one to you guys. There are two options for the final goal:

Option One: Maia Gone Rogue

We will use the Maia procedural system to generate a top down shooter RPG. A rogue-like-like mini game.

Think Alien Swarm or Alien Breed. You are an imp bot sent in to failed colonies on Maia, rescuing survivors, retrieving science and killing a whole lot of aggressive aliens. Collect and upgrade weapons and gain experience and skills through an infinite number of generated worlds.

Option Two: Telluric Variation

We will create three entirely new game types each with their own graphics, music and gameplay.

Dead planet: No plants, no animals, no atmosphere. The battle for survival will be long and hard.

Frozen world: Build your base into the permafrost of an ancient glacier. There are terrifying things waiting to be thawed.

Ocean planet: Your colony is based in an abyss on the ocean floor. Fight the force of our fluid system. Can you stand the pressure?

Indiegogo contributions given before December the 20th will also count towards the goals!

Let me know which you want in the comments below.

Option 2, and if we do not raise that much money, god forbid, make option 2 a new kickstarter Gaia-expansion-pack/DLC :D

    9. Jonathan Cook on November 27, 2012

Option 2 sounds far more interesting and unique. There's plenty of top down shooters to compete with, which would make your job harder i'm sure.

      Definitely Option 2!

As an elaboration, this reminds of a game I played ages ago called Outpost; only done with added amazing, and having more types of planets to build on would be wonderful.
