Holy moly. That's a whole lot of love. Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU! for making this project such a success! I had a an idea one evening and submitted to Kickstarter the next day. You always hear people saying things like "I never imaged this would happen." But I never imaged this would happen. Thank you for making it happen!
I've contacted many of you to let you know your cards have been written and will be on their way, if you haven't heard form me don't worry, you will. The next few days will be spent furiously writing, and addressing. I'll catch up on emails once everything is mailed. Thank you for understanding.
I had originally arranged to have the cards sent to Loveland, but as this project grew I felt it was important for me to deliver them there myself. So I'm off for my first delivery to Loveland. I'll post an update with pictures soon.
There are a few more thank yous I want to make before I sign off. A huge thanks to Bubba who told me to go for it when I first came up with the idea for this project. And a big thank you Sara who found Loveland, Ohio about thirty seconds after I said "I wish there was a Valentines-y city nearby." Thank you to Brittni and Stephanie who are glittering machines, and to Veronica who said silk screening glue would work. Thank you Jenny and Lisa who kept me company as I cut the stock for over 600 cards. Thank you to Stephen who stacked and folded and swept up glitter like a champ. Thank you to Michael and the staff at Kickstarter who featured this project and answered my questions as it grew. But mostly I want to thank all of you backers who so enthusiastically got behind this idea, who spread the word, and whose messages of love are so wonderful that I write each card with the biggest smile and think, "the world is so beautiful! There is so much love out there!"
