Remorse is a story about a retired hitman named Frank, who finds that he cannot sleep during the nights due to an event in his past. He then decides to visits Jessica, the daughter of the man he killed on his final job.
The film as it stands currently, is set to run at a running time of 8-10 minutes, and focus on two sets to time frames. The present story line will focus on Frank talking with Jessica, while a series of flashbacks will focus on his last kill, over 20 years ago.
The project itself will be a two day shoot beginning on January 17th, and finishing sometime in February,( finding a promising location is the cause of the delay,) with most of our cast and crew selected. We are seeking a couple of remaining crew members, but our cast is sorted out, with details below.
What we plan to get from this film, is a strong, direct to the point story of redemption, family and that spy espionage nostalgia that people want to see. The goal is to be able to screen the film on the local and out of state festival circuit. We already have many people interested in the project, many of which have been in the film business for decades. This will be a project made possible by and for those in the business, or wishing to jump right in.
What we need: We are seeking a small amount this time as funds have been donated through out the year, however, we are still $300 away from our goal, which will pay the remaining funds for the second day of shooting (the past scenes.) Donating to this project will grant the individual giving various perks listed to the side of this page. All from production stills, to a producer credit and say in the edit. I hope you will all support this film as much as we're enthusiastic to film it.

Risks and challenges
Like any project, risks and challenges apply. There could be a delay in filming, cast or crew could drop out. Things like this happen all the time in the industry, but I will promise, the film will be made. I gathered all my resources and filmed two previous short films out of pocket after these unforeseen instances happened. I can promise a product at the end that you can enjoy.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
