I have to say, its just an astonishing experience to have so many people show up to support your creative vision. When you are planing to go on Kickstarter and plan your project, you think of numbers and how you probably need 200 or so backers to make your project work, and because you believe in your work and vision and because you create something you hope people find beautiful, it doesnt really sound like too many people.. In fact, you think, because you are so sure that your subject matter is fascinating, that OF COURSE at least 200 people will show up.. but when its actually happening and you see the people come, one by one, with names you recognize and names you have never heard before, it becomes a truly amazing thing. Something is happening as far as support and community that many artists never feel. I never have before. So, thanks. I know I keep saying that, but you are changing how I am an artist, one who is more rooted and confident.. and I'll always have that.
When you get a new pledge you get an email that says( my last pledge before this update)
