Mr. Happy is a short romantic revenge film about the lives of an office worker and cleaner. Through a drunken remark made on a post-it note Michael sparks an unlikely relationship with Rachel the office cleaner who he has never met.
The lives of Rachel and Michael change over a series of days ending with a dramatic conclusion that changes Michael's circumstances and more importantly his outlook on life completely.
Written and directed by Eugene Magee a filmmaker from Northern Ireland, his ambition is to create a beautiful portrait of two very different people.
The film will star Michael Ryan (Warhorse, Rocknrolla) Jenny Bede (Misfits, Dawson Bros, Funtime)
With our actors, crew and location confirmed we are almost there, however we need your help and in truth we really cant do it without you.
Shooting over three days in March this year we will be creating film elements that have not been seen in a film of its kind. With these challenges we have a crew with immense talent including Producer James Rice, Cinematographer Steve Marshall and art director Edd Stockton. Together we are planning on creating a vivid film style that leaves the audience wanting more.
The story will be a vivid and surreal depiction of office life. For regular updates please visit:

Jenny Bede an English actress and comedian will be playing the part of Rachel having worked together on lots of comedy virals over the past year she was the perfect choice for the part. Check out her twitter for loads of funny content including videos we are doing together.
Michael Ryan is playing the male lead in Mr.Happy. Having worked with the likes of Guy Ritchie and Steven Spielberg he continues to impress with his performances both on screen and stage.
Steve Marshall is a cinematographer who has been lucky enough to win awards for his work. With his work shown in competitions in Venice, Berlin, Cannes, Camerimage and many more around the world. One of our incentives is to have a 4 hour personal red epic training session with Steve.

Risks and challenges
We are planning to shoot over 3 days and nights in a central London location with a cast of new and established actors. Due to the creative approaches being used in this short film we need a budget for prop hire and to fund equipment hire including lights, camera and lenses.
Shot using one location both night and day we aim to create a spectacularly visual film that has both humour and honesty.
With our main cost coming from lighting, camera hire and travel. We need all the help we can get to make this project a reality.
