Secret Squirrel Cold Brew Founders
Trevor and Rebecca Smith are lovers of coffee and coffee culture. Always experimenting with new ways to enjoy our favorite beverage, we began cold brewing coffee at home years ago: experimenting with various coffee beans, roasting profiles, brew times, filtering options, and of course all the great ways to mix and drink the fantastically smooth and flavorful liquid.
Inspired by the growth of artisanal handmade foods movement and our entrepreneurial spirit, we thought, "This is just too good to keep to ourselves" and Secret Squirrel was born.

LA River Bend started up in August 2012 in Los Angeles, CA. Singer/songwriter Nate Weiner & engineer Branden Stroup were finishing up Nate's debut record, Ride the Sun, when they met cellist Emily Elkin. Adding Jacob Seldes on drums, the band is busy recording their sophomore effort, Run These Hills, in Atwater Village, Los Angeles.

Risks and challenges
We have been commercially brewing and bottling cold brew coffee for over 2.5 years. We successfully completed a similar project last year - 2013.
We are aware of the risks of this project and are taking steps to mitigate them.
