Print copies ordered and the promised cat pictures
I got the second proof back from the printer on Wednesday, and approved it Friday morning. Also, on Friday, I ordered 56 copies, 30 for you Kickstarter folks and more for other sales. But, it's print on demand, so I can order them in batches of 7 whenever I start to run low.
Shipping kind of surprised me. Those 56 copies are costing $247 to ship to me, and then I get to pay more to send them to you. Still it'll come out OK.
Also, we had a little party at our place over the weekend and people were wondering if I'd ever breaded those cats. I sheepishly had to admit that I hadn't gotten around to it yet, so we decided to do it right then and there. Pictures are at the bottom.
Ichabod is the white one. Nommers is the tabby that doesn't actually looked pissed off. Jack is the one with the little white moustache. And Darth is the all black one. Jack really didn't like it and took out her anger on Wade, whose wound we also got a picture of.
All in all, breading a cat is harder than you'd think, and between the bread ripping and the cats desperately trying to get away, you have to be pretty quick with the camera. If anyone out there is thinking of trying it, I highly recommend thick-crusted bread.
Anyway, back to Ellis. The adventure wound up not being as done as I had thought it was. I am doing my best to bring it up to my standards, but it's going slow. Hopefully though, I can have it done before those hardbacks arrive.
More updates once the books arrive or the adventure is done. Until then, Happy Gaming!
