Launched in 2009 at Slater Mill, the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, Rhode Island’s own Mini Maker Faire represents a new kind of revolution that promotes grassroots American innovation. Join us as we connect a community of builders, inventors, and designers here in Providence.

We're holding Maker Faire RI in downtown Providence on August 11, 2012 in partnership with AS220, who is hosting us that day at their annual block party. Through this partnership, we'll have the opportunity to expose thousands of people to the makers who exhibit here.

Your support will pay for the infrastructure needed to make this happen (parts for hands-on activities, facility fees, table rentals, signage, and all the other stuff that makers need to show off their creations).
