Launched in 2009 at Slater Mill, the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, Rhode Island’s own Mini Maker Faire represents a new kind of revolution that promotes grassroots American innovation. Join us as we connect a community of builders, inventors, and designers here in Providence.
We're holding Maker Faire RI in downtown Providence on September 10 in partnership with WaterFire, who is hosting us that evening. Because WaterFire averages tens of thousands of attendees, we'll have the opportunity to expose thousands of people to the makers who exhibit here.
Your support will pay for the infrastructure needed to make this happen (electrical service, tents, and all the stuff that makers need to show off their creations).
