About this project
My interest in beef jerky all started out when I was 13 and I visited Zimbabwe where I was intrigued by the ancient process of drying meat that was so common and popular there. In Australia on the rare occasion that I saw jerky for sale (at supermarkets and service stations), I would buy it to share with my school mates. I had a strong desire to make my own beef jerky almost from the outset. I bought a food dryer when I was 18 and with the help of my mums cooking expertise I created my first recipe. For several years to follow I experimented with and changed my ingredients and perfected my all natural recipe. Then in 2001 I created the best batch ever. This batch was to be the standard for all future batches. I was inspired by the feedback I received from family and friends and I now want to give Bald Rock Beef Jerky to the world.
I only use the best cuts of very lean grass fed free range beef from "Bald Rock" and an assortment of my all natural secret ingredients topped off with a sprinkling of whole grain cracked pepper corns. Bald Rock Beef Jerky has No Preservatives and No Added Colours or Flavours and all the ingredients are Gluten Free! All these elements combined make Bald Rock Beef Jerky the tastiest jerky there is on the market. Just wait till you try it!

Where is it From?
"Bald Rock" is the name of my parents cattle property where the beef jerky comes from. The cattle on Bald Rock are 100% grass fed, free range cattle and are entirely growth promotant free (no hormones). Bald Rock cattle are premium grade Hereford and Angus breeds.
Bald Rock Beef Jerky has several packaging designs and prototypes including 30g, 100g, 500g, bonus mini taster packs and a display box.

Eating too much jerky! Is that possible? To overcome this I will use as many eager friends and family to do a lot of the taste testing for me.
