I'm so glad this is taking off so well! I wish I could donate more, but I'm stretching my budget as it is. I don't know how possible, or useful this would be, but if it raises enough to put on major consoles, would it be cheaper/easier to put them on slightly older ones like a ps2 instead of ps3? just a thought I guess. ^^

    9. Dário Mesquita on September 9, 2012

I was referring to the possibility of the ??? items being included in a new 100$/250$ pak when revealed.

    10. Get Takeshi on September 9, 2012

Ceu Guitart, MSPA crew will reveal the ??? items when they're unlocked, or close to unlocking.

Firestryke31, Kick Start donations slow down a LOT after the first week or so.

    11. Dário Mesquita on September 9, 2012

I'm with Rafe, I'm willing to donate up to $700 but am sticking with the 400 tier for now, I'm sure higher tiers would be very helpful fort the Kickstarter.

Also, to the MSPA crew, can you reveal whether the ??? items will be sold seperately later on or not?

      *does some simple calculations*

If people keep donating as much as they have averaged over the past 6 days, we'll get over $4.5 million. However, I predict a slowdown as the most desirable tier reward has already sold out and the most dedicated fans have already heard about and donated to this. I think we will possibly hit the $2 million mark by the end, if not very close.

@Rafe: Not a part of the MSPA crew, but, by the looks of it, you may just wait until tomorrow, when they hit 950k.

it says alot about me that i find those stickers woth my 105 dollar pledge alone :P

    15. Rafe Saltman on September 9, 2012

Attention MSPA crew, I am currently pledging at $410 but if you added more reward tiers, I could increase my pledge to as high as $1000. Please give me a reason to throw more money at you!

This post /|\ (above) links to a download and it kinda makes me nervous, especially with people saying that a particular sburb download is a backdoor virus.

wow I love those stickers and whats this about? this confuses me

    20. Carl Nelson on September 8, 2012

I want a joke stretch goal like, real SBURB at 1 billion.
because you know we would want it so much we'd sell whole countries just to reach it.
(since the meteors would destroy them later anyway, who cares?)

    21. Raive on September 8, 2012

I would love to see some information on network (Multiplayer) support. If we hit high enough on the ladder? Hurray for Homestuck! :D

      what is exactly an EFIG?

    39. MS Paint Adventures Creator on September 8, 2012

@John Wilson: Don't worry, any extra budget will go directly into making the game a better game! The stretch goals are not there to tell you what we'll be using the budget for, but how we'll be rewarding backers for reaching those levels! Remember, backers are valued and appreciated, but you aren't privy to how the sausage is made, so to speak. Stretch goals are for YOU, not us! :)

John Smith on September 8, 2012

Yes, let us hope that it spreads to consoles.
Then the homestucks can be sitting down in their cosplays and hugging their scalemates as the game installs.
^ Joke. But that'd be a funny thing to happen if it did.

    41. Iscariot on September 8, 2012

Also, Josh, I'm not sure why you're factoring taxes into the initial capital transaction? This is project financing, not profit. They'll pay taxes on what's left over after they've paid for the game's expenses, ie. not very much.

    42. Iscariot on September 8, 2012

Adding support for other platforms and languages is a way of extending the game's reach in the hopes of turning a larger profit in the long term. So yes, it's important. The more places they can sell it, the more people they can sell it to, the better. A game isn't just for people who are already Homestuck fans - it will be trying to prove itself in its own right and if it's as good as we're expecting it to be, it should be able to do that, and it'll need as wide an audience as possible. (Though even if all the adventure game fans in the world buy it it'll still never have as many fans as the comic does.) Higher production quality might shift more units, but not in such a quantifiable way.

    43. Gramin the salmon on September 8, 2012

Yes. This is good news. Now we just need 950k and hopefully it's something like pins or something even better possibly.
