The Phoblographer has been field testing the CamCuff for the past two weeks. On Thursday, we were thrilled to see the full CamCuff review. Editor, Chris Gampat was "genuinely impressed with the build quality and the comfort level that the CamCuff gives."
He wrote glowingly about the comfort and the strength that the CamCuff design provides:
"Pull, tug, and drop your camera with this strap attached: it will never give way. We tested it with the Canon 5D Mk II and a Sigma 85mm f1.4, and the Olympus OMD EM1 with a Voigtlander 17.5mm f0.95 and we never encountered a problem. Additionally, we were amazed by just how comfortable the strap was to use. Other manufacturers could surely learn from Wanderlust in this department. "
This made us particularly happy - it took 10 different design iterations and months of road testing to land the current CamCuff design - with comfort and strength always top of mind.
Chris even came up with a way to store his CamCuff around the lens in his gear bag:
We hope you'll take pride in this review, and pass it around to help spread the word!
As you have noticed, these Kickstarter updates are happening a lot less frequently. Please keep in touch with us, and keep sharing those great pics when you travel or shoot with your CamCuff.
