One Week to Go!
So, not a ton to report on the recipe right now - have taken the last couple weeks off cooking, for the most part, on account of a nasty foot injury. Hard to work in the kitchen, when standing causes blinding pain!
The weekend saw a LOT of recovery progress, though, and I'm walking around a bit today... so I expect to be back at the long hours in the kitchen soon!
I can do a little "show and tell", though.
Yesterday was my husband's birthday, so we did at at home "sushifest". Bought a ton of ingredients for make-you-own sushi, and made chicken satay and gyoza as appetizers.

Yes, Satay is usually ALMOST gluten-free (depending on the soy sauce used)... but I find by recipe to be especially good. The guests all agreed, because most people filled up on satay and gyoza before the sushi even got started up. There was actually talk of doing shots of my peanut sauce!
Whoops. We had a TON of leftover sushi ingredients as a result.
Tasty stuff, either way!
So, we're one week away from the end of the campaign!
We're still about $3500 away from reaching our stretch goal and adding 20% more recipes to the book.
