Telepath Tactics funded!

Hey guys! So, the Kickstarter campaign for Telepath Tactics ended early this morning with some impressive results. Here is where we ended up, and what the trip there looked like:

  • 1,733 backers
  • $41,259 pledged (275% funded)

I couldn't have asked for a better result, really. I'm exceptionally grateful for all the support you guys have shown, and I'm looking forward to getting this game done for you!

I've had several requests for a way to contribute now that the Kickstarter campaign is done; I'm going to set up a system using BMT Micro (which accepts Paypal) over on the Sinister Design website. When that is up and running, I'll let everyone know.

I'm going to send out the first batch of backer rewards over the next few weeks. (Among other things, I still have a few more changes I want to make to the game before I send it out to early access backers.) Keep an eye on your email, folks!

Cheers,

Craig

P. S. Don't forget to vote for Telepath Tactics on Steam Greenlight! Needless to say, that'll help out a lot with getting the game onto Steam. :)

The end of a kickstarter is just as hectic as the beginning. I assume there will a pretty big time delay between now and our immediate access. To be fair, as long as we get it in April or May then the "estimated delivery" date is pretty decent.

Jack Houston game project had a bogus $10k donation for instance, a sizable chunk that actually took them below the original funding goal. However, the project owner was somewhat suspicious of that pledge all along because the pledger didn't pick any reward and didn't respond to PMs or emails.

StromIV's right, I would imagine he'd wait till the game is officially funded, by getting the funds from Amazon.

You'd be surprised at a few projects that became nightmares over fraudulent backing.

      @ Chris
He might hold off until he can ensure that all the backers pledges got through, which can take like 2 weeks I believe.

Glad to see this one went well :) However, does this mean we're not quite ready to get the "...immediate access to a Kickstarter-exclusive, DRM-free copy of the game as soon as this Kickstarter campaign ends..."?

Congrats again for getting your goal, and also for getting over twice what you received on your first campaign!
