Hi friends!!

Just like Eluid Kipchoge missed going under 2 hours in his marathon attempt Saturday morning by just a hair (25-26 seconds), we might fall short of our goal by a few inches. For those math geeks out there, as of Sunday night we're at $53,901 over 21 days. That's $2566/day. You would think that with 9 days left, and $21,099 to raise we'd make it ($2566 x 9 days = $23,100). But .... we've flat-lined (comparatively) these past few days.

We've raised a total of just under $3000 the last 4 days, total. That's less than $750/day.

Let's say that we're in the 20th mile of a marathon and hitting the wall big-time!! Do you champion runners out there have any ideas for us?

Basically, we need people to continue sharing the campaign thru social media, posting to their running club sites, encouraging their elite running friends and bloggers to tweet, write and post, and urging people who have been considering a donation to participate - at any amount.

At this stage, we just need activity.

The runners in the film have achieved tremendous things - from running 77 miles a day for 40 straight days (3100 Mile runners) to nearing the 950th day of the 1000th day quest and averaging 56 miles a day for 100 straight days (marathon monks). With that in perspective, we can do this. Tomorrow's Monday. Let's all commit to doing just one thing this week to ensure we can get this film out to the world.

In that task, we are so so grateful for your support and participation.

I'm off for my long run now. Running always clears my head and re-fills it with great ideas. I hope I won't need to run 40 miles for that to happen. But I will, if that's what's needed :)

Gratefully yours,

Sanjay and Team 3100

Kipchoge falls short, barely. Amazing effort!
