Proofs on Cards and thicker label stock

I've just picked up the first set or proofs for the quote and birthday cards and they look beautiful. From a small distance they're fantastic but I'm not 100% sold on the finish upon inspection with a microscope so we're going to do another run a little later this week with a few tweaks here and there and hopefully we'll get them printed before Friday.

On the label front we're making even more progress. I went to a new and fabulous factory yesterday (I won't bore you with the details on the old one) and felt papers, checked ink quality and discussed the way forward. The adhesive papers I've seen so far have been too thin for our awesome Posticks, so they're in the process sourcing a heavier label as I type, and looking into tools that will accommodate the heavier stock. It's likely that I'll have the new samples in my hands tomorrow some time. Excitement!

I asked if they'd mind me taking pictures of the production line for you to see and they said "no problem".

I hope you're having a fabulous start to the week!
