Kickstarter Exclusive Reveal - Disciples of Heresy
I’m happy to announce that we are offering a Kickstarter Exclusive product for this campaign: The Disciples of Heresy.
The Disciples of Heresy is a 64+ page, full color book that details two of the most infamous cults on Arcanis: The Cult of the Thousand Eyed Man and the Cult of Tzizhet. The book consists of an in-depth description of the Cults, including their goals, hierarchy, unique spells, magic items and more! It will also include two adventures where the Heroes face off against their insidious machinations.
The Cult of the Thousand Eyed Man
“He stood as regal as a king; his bare chest heaving from the exertion of dealing with the guards. As it turned, he pierced me with his icy blue eyes and I thought for a moment that his body had blurred. To my horror, I realized that the blurring effect was caused by the blinking of hundreds of eyes that now covered the Avatar’s body – all of them the same ice blue color and now squarely fixed on me!” - The late Prince Aidric of Koban
This cult is centered on spreading the malignant influence of the Thousand Eyed Man, an entity rumored to be either an ancient, elder god or an infernal Devil King of enormous power. The section detailing the cult will delve into the various members such as the Ovate and the bizarre Bladed Eye. Note: A greatly abbreviated version of this source material appeared in the Arcanis RPG product Bestiary vol. II.
The Cult of Tzizhet
The ancient Necromancer Lords of the Cult of Tzizhet spread madness and chaos as a way of gaining power. Once thought to be completely expunged from the Known Lands, the cult has reemerged in a wide variety of locations, such as Old Coryan and even the Blessed Lands. The Greater Spawn of Tzizhet can be used to control the most intransigent of foes, while the Lesser Spawn swarm over enemies, melting both flesh and armor with their potent acidic excretions.
The two adventures featured in this volume are: For Eye See Naught but Ruin and Woe and The Return of the Necromancer Lords. Note: For Eye See Naught but Ruin and Woe was originally released as a Living Arcanis module in 2006. The version in this product is modified and expanded.
Once the Stretch Goal is unlocked, the PDF of this product will be included with those pledge levels that contain the PDF Collection. A print copy will be made available for purchase, but only for those backers at the $75 or higher Reward Level.
Print copies will be limited exactly to those pledged during the Kickstarter. This book will never be reprinted in this form, though the source material may find its way into future products (there are none planned for at least the next three years). The adventures will not be released in any form again, other than in this edition.
I hope you help us spread the word to unlock the Disciples of Heresy so we can get this exclusive product in your hands.
As always, thank you for your support!
