Seattle-based Bent (To be renamed No Crown for the release of this album) was formed in June of 2012 when Matt Litz and Brian Rowe's previous group "Perfect Weather" disbanded whilst recording their album. The songs from this album remained as the nucleus of the regrouped band :"Bent:" with the addition of Jon Warner (of Really Big Beard, Magnificent Sons, Hunting Grounds, Myrin, Capybara) on the drums. Those original recordings were rebranded as Bent, but with the new line up and a good deal of live performances under their belt (up and down the U.S. west coast) a more natural, driving, and energetic sound was born.
We (the group) feel strongly compelled to capture this improved honest rock sound with a full-length release (to be recorded in the heart of the Georgetown neighborhood in south Seattle at Earwig Studios). In order to do this, we will need funding for tracking & mixing (estimated at $1500), mastering (estimated at $700) and manufacturing ($500 for 100 CDs).
Our dedication is strong, as is our passion and talent. We hope to achieve our goal and get this funded project up and running! We also hope you find our rewards to be compelling. Thank you so much.

Risks and challenges
Risks:
Studio availability. Right now we are planning on beginning in June and are hopeful that we will get the time we need to complete this project quickly, and well.
Bodily injury. Jon is a klutz and Matt's guitar has been known to attack him, so this may also be a risk.
