Everyone enjoys a good game, and with NASCAR being
the most popular event on the planet when every weekend thousands of race
enthusiasts pack up the family, and friends,
and head off to the race. There are always campers, staying in RV’s, a lot full
of thousands of cars, and a grandstand full of fans waiting for the roar of the
pavement as the cars flash by.
Just as these racers, teams and owners compete
to bring their car closer with every lap to winning; all of the seasonal wins
culminate in a CHASE and point’s winner. This winner gets the big bucks, and
bragging rights for the next season and perhaps forever, or until there is a
new winner of the CHASE. This game is designed to bring this excitement to the
kitchen table and you can play along with each weekly race.
The playing of this game is the following.
Included in the standard version of the game is an awesome 24" x 36”
folding race track. The race track has positions all around the board and a pit
stop area. When the game is in play the racers each take turns and throw the
numbered dice, and a black dice with one yellow side, and a black dice with one
red side. So now just as in a real race drivers throw the dice with every move
and take the chance to move with the pack.
Also throwing the dice changes by specific limitations
and rewards, ie: throwing one numbered dice, 2, or penalty and reward with card
drawing after the outcome of throwing. If you roll a 3 and a 4 plus the two
black dice land black up you move ahead (7). If the yellow dice side comes up
you only count one dice number (the lowest number) for this move and draw a
yellow card. These cards have results that effect every player on each draw, on
every move, this includes the pack on every move. Example:, you have to draw
from the bottom, re shuffle , draw from the top, cut the deck, someone else
picks for you, fall back a lap, go to the lead lap, take a pit stop, Get
additional supplies, Gas and Tires, bonus pit stops. (or lose pit stops)… just
like a real race.
It's like taking a chance in a blur as this
fast pace game goes a specified number of laps and you keep score on the score
cards, and with the bonus draws. The score can carry on to the next race or
other boards. The Chase comes with a standard set of 10 metal race cars that players
use to move around the track. Additional car sets and bonus card packs can be
added to game play and would be purchased wherever gaming cards are sold. As
players would like additional course tracks and layouts to race on; these are
planned to also be made available in the season ahead, (with game success). The
standard race comes with two tracks one on each side of the playing board.
Other cards are also won and collected throughout the game, Sponsor cards, race
cards, (called quick cards) they move the game along as the dice foretell the
outcome in this great family game. There is excitement around the bend and on
every move as I hope you can gather from this description.

Risks and challenges
Over the last 25 years I have been involved in a collection of projects, from simple printing and billboard projects, to books, and programs. This project is a collection of various printing and specialty projects,
Printing game board, instruction booklet, and the playing cards. Score sheets, The Box and all internal die cuts. Wrapping decks, arranging the packing to include the standard race cars and the game essentials to pick up the pieces will work very easy.
The major items that could cause any delay is only the licensing of specific logos, or trademarked names. If this becomes a monumental task I am prepared to adjust these names to avoid any infringement that could be caused from NASCAR, and their trademarks. Such As: "The Moonshine Run", (a throwback to NASCAR beginnings with moonshiners our running the Law.), Rickie, Bobby, ( An an adapted race from the Movie Talladega Nights")
As I would rather pay a royalty for the branding so that the game would be more real world than some off the cuff race naming and game conventions. Once funds are secured legal expenses are included to make this happen and make this a family game with wide appeal like Monopoly or any other game that people have love over the years. A quality manufacture is in the wings to take the final designs and produce the final product by deadline.
Because of the great appeal of these racing events I see variations of these game, and as of now I do prefer the table top version, we are also prepared to make a wifi, smartphone and tablet version in the future if the desire and requests demand this sort of technology. But for now there is NO technology, just a lucky roll of the dice to take you to the winners circle and to the chase.
