Early concepts: Birth of Overturn
Overturn has been in works for quite a few years. Humayun had conceived the game almost three years back and had a working paper made model that he showed me one warm evening in Karachi.
I was a purebred video gamer and not that big on board games besides your run of the mill monopoly and Risk sessions with friends so the idea of a board game that played like a story rich RPG was foreign to me.
But in just one playthrough I was convinced. Humayun made me realize that the game had tons of opportunities for me as a story teller and I was part of Foxtales from that day on. I may not be a published writer but Overturn's story is something that I am really proud of. Here are some early concepts of the game. Some of the pictures were taken by me during that first playthrough.
